Bodies of the Association are:

The Assembly is the body of all Association's members and it establishes program policy of the Association. Among other things, the Assembly appoints and dismisses members of the Managing Board, adopts the operating and financial reports, adopts general documents of the Association, decides on amendments to the Founding Contract of the Association, adopts the Statute - Code of the Association and, on proposal of the Managing Board, ratifies the amendments to the Statute - Code of the Association, decides on changes to the status of the Association and, on the proposal of the Managing Board, adopts the decision on termination of the Association.

Each member has the right to one vote in the Assembly of the Association. The Assembly decides by a simple majority vote of present members at a session, attended by at least 51 percent of members entitled to vote. 

The Association has affiliate members, too. Affiliate members have no right to vote, decide or manage the Association.

ANEM President, among other things, represents the Association, acts on its behalf and promotes its aims and interests to the public, points to the problems in the media sector and their possible resolutions, initiates adoption of decisions of the Managing Board and their enforcement, convenes the Assembly and the Managing Board of the Association and presides over these bodies. In accordance with ANEM constitutional acts, the Chairman of the Managing Board is at the same time the President of the Association. From October 24, 2013, when ANEM Managing Board has elected him as the new Chairman of the Managing Board, ANEM President is Milorad Tadic, the owner, general manager and chief editor of the private Radio BOOM93, Pozarevac. Milorad Tadic took over the position of ANEM President from Sasa Mirkovic, who has resigned due to his appointment to the position of the Assistant Minister of Culture and Media, responsible for media.

Managing Board is the executive body of the Association that carries out goals stipulated by the Association's Statute, manages the Association and decides on behalf of the Association, decides on admission to or termination, as well as change of status of membership, adopts the Strategy and business plans of the Association etc. The Managing Board consists of five members elected by the Assembly for a period of four years. In line with ANEM constitutional acts, the members of the Managing Board nominate and elect/dismiss Chairman of the Managing Board among them.

At the ANEM Assembly's session on June 10, 2010, the following members of the Managing Board of the Association of Independent Electronic Media were elected*:

  • Milorad Tadic, Radio Boom93 from Pozarevac, Chairman of the Managing Board - elected to this position on October 24, 2013
  • Dragan Kocic, Radio City from Nis, Deputy Chairman of the Managing Board
  • Boban Tomic, RTV Prima, Bajina Basta, member
  • Slobodan Krajnovic, Radio 021 from Novi Sad, member

*On October 14, 2013, Sasa Mirkovic, representative of RTV B92 from Belgrade, who was also elected at the Assembly's session on June 10, 2010, as the member of the Managing Board, and afterwards as the Chairman of the Managing Board/Association's President, resigned from his position of the Association's President and the member of the Managing Board due to his appointment to the position of the Assistant Minister of Culture and Media, responsible for media.

Secretariat is the executive body of the Association conducting activities of media policy development and favorable regulatory framework for broadcasters, improvement of existing media regulations and working conditions for broadcasters, advocacy activities, enforcing decisions of Association's governing bodies, lobbying for Association's strategic goals, promoting Association and its members, communicating with members and providing them with adequate services, maintaining communication and cooperation with legal department of the Association, partners and stakeholders, web presentation of ANEM and its activities.
