Global Membership
IFEX (International Freedom of Expression Exchange). IFEX is an international organization which comprises more than 80 organizations whose aim is to promote the protection of the freedom of expression and information. One of IFEX's main activities is to regularly monitor the state of the media in all the countries of the world and promptly react at any breaches of the freedom of the media. ANEM also follows the state of the media in Serbia and reacts in cases of violation of the freedom of the media, among else through the means of the ANEM Statements. NAB (National Association of Broadcasters). ANEM is an associate member of the American Association of Broadcasters, which comprises more than 8300 independent radio and television broadcasters. Just like ANEM in Serbia, NAB is a business association which supports the work of local radio and TV stations in the USA. Both organizations are active in the area of protection of local broadcasters and enhancing the legal framework of their operation.
UNGC (UN Global Compact). UN Global Compact is a voluntary initiative for corporate social responsibility founded under the auspices of the UN Secretary General. The initiative comprises more than 4300 organizations worldwide promoting and implementing the values of UN Global Compact principles in the following areas: human rights, labor law standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption. Regional Membership
SEEMO (South East Europe Media Organization). The South East Europe Media Organization is a branch of the International Press Institute. It is a non-governmental, non-profit network of editors, directors, leading journalists and news agencies from the countries of South East Europe. The aim of the organization is to improve the regional cooperation and strengthen the connections within the media sector in the region. ANEM and SEEMO cooperate in the field of promotion of free journalism, the right to report, the fight against hate speech, as well as developing adequate working conditions for the Serbian media.
SEENAPB (South East European Network of Associations of Private Broadcasters). SEENAPB and ANEM have cooperated when inducing common initiatives regarding the enhancement of legal regulations in the field of the media, expert consultations, researching and monitoring the media regulations, training, projects for the regional program exchange, promotion and application of new technologies, as well as organizing common international and regional events, research trips and meetings of media professionals.

ANEM's strategic partners are local and regional organizations, as well as other organizations in Europe and the world, which share ANEM's vision and aims, and promote professional, responsible and independent media.
Having recognized ANEM's democratic potential and orientation towards reforms, numerous sponsor organizations have supported its work: USAID, IREX ProMedia; Norwegian People's Aid (NPA); Swedish Helsinki Committee (SHC); the Press Now Foundation; medienhilfe; the European Agency for Reconstruction and Development (EAR), OSCE Mission to Serbia's Media Department, etc. ANEM has also collaborated with the European Union and the Council of Europe.
Locally, ANEM cooperates with the European Center for Broadcast Journalism (ECBJ), the Media Center in Belgrade, the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia (NUNS), the Independent Association of Journalists of Vojvodina (NDNV), the Lokal Pres - association of local print media, the Faculty of Political Science - Department of Journalism, organizations from the civil sector and other organizations.
ANEM cooperates with many local and regional non-governmental organizations, as well as individual members of SEEMO and SEENAPB networks.
