MINORS IN PRESS

BELGRADE, May 30, 2005 – Media Center’s Media Watch Serbia research and analysis group will present on Monday, June 6, its regular monthly report on the degree to which print media in Serbia uphold ethical standards of the journalism profession. The repot is the result of monitoring of the most important ethical and professional principles in the Serbian press, which is to say in the most important daily and weekly publications. This month, special attention will be paid to the (mis)use of so-called “journalists’ sources” by the print media, as well as the manner in which the press treats underage persons.
