YOUNG JOURNALISTS AWARDED

BELGRADE, May 20, 2005 – Top students of the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade have received the awards for their work from the fund “Borivoje Mirkovic”. The future journalists were competing in the categories of the best article, radio feature and TV feature. The work of Tamara Vlaskalin, “Genetically modified yuppies or the rules of silicone business” was awarded the best article, while the work of Ivana Miloradovic “What kind of teeth we have” won the prize for best radio feature. Natalija Milovanovic, Andreja Petrovic and Ivona Vucicevic were awarded the best TV feature for their work “Cheating in Exams”. The Fund “Borivoje Mirkovic” was established in 1983 and was envisaged for students of the Faculty of Political Science, department of Journalism. The first such competition was organized in 1984.
