U.S. Embassy condemns attack on “Vreme” journalist Teofil Pancic
Belgrade, July 28, 2010 (U.S. Embassy) - U.S. Embassy condemns the July 24 attack on "Vreme" journalist Teofil Pancic.
"It is the role of every democratic country to create a safe and open environment for free speech and to protect those who exercise this primary right. We welcome the commitment by President Tadic and other Serbian authorities to identify the perpetrators of this and other crimes against journalists and bring them to justice", said in the statement.
