PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE: THE LAW IS CONSTITIONAL

Belgrade, November 26, 2009 (Danas) - The Serbian Parliamentary Legislative Committee took a stand yesterday that Initiative for the assessment of constitutionality of the Amendments to the Law on Public Information was ungrounded claiming that the Law is in accordance with Constitution. Chairman of this Committee Vlatko Ratkovic (DS) stated that tomorrow will be submitted to the Constitutional Court opinion of the Parliamentary Committee concerning this proposal and two initiatives for the assessment of constitutionality of the Public Information Law.
