Radio Uzice is a part of the Public Enterprise "Vesti" (News) comprising also an identical named weekly newspaper (the first number of the weekly was published in October 1941 as a newspaper of Uzicka Republika. Radio station started work in 1971.

-Central informative program - Daily News at 4 o'clock p.m.
- "More than Radio", Political Magazine, from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. till
noon.
- "Denunciations", musical humorous program, on Mondays from 8 p.m. till 10 p.m. (Authors: Drinkman Brothers)
- "Grabbing the Lost Trunk", on Tuesdays from 8 p.m. till 10 p.m. prepared by Aleksandar Kovacevic
- "Confusion" on Thursdays from 8 p.m. till 10 p.m. of author Dusko Micic
- "The Time of Jazz" on Sundays from 8 p.m. till 10 p.m. prepared by Nebojsa Tomovic

Investigations show that Radio Uzice is heard in all ten municipalities of Zlatibor region (Arilje, Bajina Basta, Cajetina, Pozega, Priboj, Prijepolje, Sjenica, Kosjeric, Nova Varos, Uzice), with potential auditorium of 300,000 listeners, and owing to the net of transmitters, it can be heard in the north of Montenegro and Republic Serbian.

Since July 2000, Radio Uzice has been broadcasting from the new stereo studio. It is probably one of the last stations in Europe that broadcast programs with mono-signal, with equipment obtained as far back as in 1975.
