INVITATION TO ANEM’S ROUND TABLE "EFFECTS OF MEDIA LAWS IMPLEMENTATION AND FURTHER GUIDELINES FOR MEDIA REFORM"

Dear Sir/Madam,

We invite you to participate in ANEM's roundtable where it will be discussed the effects of media laws implementation and further measures for realization of expected and necessary changes in the media sector. The roundtable will be held on 29 January 2016 (Friday) at the Media Center, Belgrade, starting at  11 am.

The round table is organized within the ANEM's project "Legal Monitoring of the Serbian media scene", with the support from the Swiss Cooperation Office, within the Small Projects Fund.

The event will gather representatives of media/journalists' associations and media, responsible authorities, non-governmental organizations, media experts, and other interested parties.

Speakers:

  • Attorney at law Slobodan Kremenjak, media law expert, a member of the legal team of ANEM
  • Jovanka Matic, PhD, media expert, Institute of Social Sciences, Belgrade
  • Milos Rajkovic, a member of the Council of the Regulatory body for electronic media
  • Prof. Rade Veljanovski, PhD, media expert, Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade

Following the introductory speeches, a discussion on the topic of the round table will be opened.

We hope that you will be able to join us and participate in the event.

Also, please note that the working language of the round table is Serbian and that we are not able to provide interpretation for the event.
